Variable valve technology is an important means of achieving energy saving and emission reduction, which could instantly control the opening and closing time of intake valve and exhaust valve, opening angle and the size of the valve lift according to the engine under all operating conditions of the intake and exhaust requirements. Our research group presents a new type of Continuous Variable Valve Timing and Lift System by Hydraulic Volume Adjustable, this paper focuses on the analysis and research of intake valve dynamic characteristics.Firstly, the author applied the principle of elastodynamic to the construction of Single-mass and Multi-mass mathematical model in Continuous Variable Valve Timing and Lift System by Hydraulic Volume Adjustable, and establish the intake valve single-valve system simulation model of distribution system by Excite TD. The author studied the related dynamics characteristics of intake valve while valve timing and valve lift adjusting under different crankshaft speed. Through comparing the test data with the simulation results, to verify the correctness of the simulation model, then the author proposed improvement measures of distribution system.Secondly, based on the transient dynamic analysis method, ABAQUS was used to build intake valve-valve seat finite element model of Continuous Variable Valve Timing and Lift System by Hydraulic Volume Adjustable, and analysis the stress conditions of intake valve and valve seat under the impact of the largest seating velocity, and study the influence of the stress and distribution about intake valve and exhaust valve seat by seating velocity and time changes.
