As a new form of the building structure, short-pier shear wall structure in the useof functional superiority to be obvious to people,but for the seismic performance of thisstructure system still need our further research and improvement.Therefore,this paperuses the method of nonlinear analysis research earthquake resistance performance ofsteel reinforced concrete short-pier shear wall structure,and with the common short-piershear wall structure are compared,to verify its superiority in seismic performance,tovigorously promote the use of short-pier shear wall structure system provide the theorybasis.First this paper uses the ANSYS to the T shaped steel reinforced concrete shortpier shear wall by finite element analysis,then uses ETABS on the12layer of steelreinforced concrete short-pier shear wall structure and common short-pier shear wallstructure by mechanical properties analysis and static nonlinear analysis.(1)In order to ensure that the T shaped steel reinforced concrete short-pier shearwall ductile shear failure occurs, the failure mechanism on the basis of experimentalresearch, using ANSYS finite element analysis software to simulate the failure mode,get the skeleton curve of T shape steel reinforced concrete short-pier shear wall. In theprocess of analysis considered the influence factors of horizontal steel reinforcementratio, concrete strength, axial compression ratio and the content of steel.(2)Elaborated the concrete process of static nonlinear analysis as well as severalapplied to short-pier shear wall structure analysis model.Then,in the process ofmodeling, using the section designer of ETABS software compute section mechanical properties of steel reinforced concrete short-pier shear wall, then equivalent to framecolumn.(3)In mechanical properties analysis, concluded different periods, vibration modelchange rule, internal force and deformation of the steel reinforced concrete short-piershear wall structure and common short-shear wall structure.(4) In nonlinear analysis, check the development of the plastic hinge of twostructures, analyse its failure mechanism and deformation, and using capacity spectrummethod evaluate the seismic performance of the two structures. By analyzing the resultsof a comparative discussion, verify the beam hinge failure mechanisms of steelreinforced concrete short-pier shear wall structure.
