The Investigation And Study Of Wubu Ancient City And The Analysis Of Its Spatial Pattern

Wubu ancient city was located in Shaanxi Wubu, and is a one thousand-year-oldcounty town which is listed as national key cultural relics protection units in2006. Asancient county administrative center of Wubu, it reflects the typical small town innorthern Shaanxi region of space layout characteristics; As the old cave complex, itreflected the ancient county the most typical Wubu building space characteristic and thehighest level of construction, is China’s traditional houses in the principles and methodsof application conditions model. Unfortunately，Wubu was destroyed by Japaneseduring the World War II, and later abandoned. But the ruins are surviving， with thelandscape environment and the Space form been well-preserved and parts of importantbuilding still exists, researching the Wubu is of high research value.Currently, there is nobody research the space characteristic of Wubu. The writerhave done a lot of work to research the Wubu, including survey and reconnaissance, alot of literature analysis, mapping. In order to collecting and analyzing the first-handinformation on Wubu. Those dates could help the ancient city of repair and recovery.On the basis of survey research, the writer analysis of the ancient city spatialpattern of Wubu, understand its historical, and learn the regional environment of theancient city. The purpose is to researching the space pattern, the existing building andthe art of building in Wubu, which can do help for the future study of Ming and Qingdynasties caves of Shaanxi provide a reference for architectural form.On the basis of analysis the existing problems of Wubu., combined with the thesis,the writer try to proposed preliminary proposals for the protection and recovery andoffer constructive ideas for the future science conservation and utilization of Wubuancient city.
