Lanxin second double track railway is the first set of "plateau, alpine, high-speed" as oneof the railway line along the main dominated by the Gobi Desert, harsh natural conditions inChina. In order to meet the high-speed rail high smoothness, high stability requirements, toensure that the train can safely, smooth, comfortable operation, we must be line structuressettlement deformation monitoring and prediction, and grasp the development trend ofsettlement deformation proposed solution programs to ensure the security and stability ofhigh-speed rail.In this paper, the Lanxin second double track railway based on the project, firstexpounded the basic engineering properties of the roadbed of the Gobi region, then itssettlement deformation monitoring and prediction methods conducted in-depth study ofspecific work are as follows:(1) The actual situation of the second double combination Lanxin railway engineering,geological conditions and natural environment of the Gobi region, a detailed introduction, andthe Gobi region of settlement deformation mechanism and the development of the law wereanalyzed.(2)Analysis of the existing settlement methods of observation, combined with wirelesssensor technology and GPRS technology to design a settlement deformation of the automaticmonitoring system. It mainly consists of four parts of the monitoring unit, the data acquisitionunit, data transmission unit and data monitoring unit. Its main features for real-time, fast andaccurate, all-weather, automated.(3) The measured data of the combination of orchid double track railway project, the foursections of the selected observations were hyperbolic method, exponential curve method,three-point method, Asoaka method, the Poisson curve method, genetic algorithm hyperbolic, gray system GM (1,1) and the parabola method of curve fitting, and applicability, stability andaccuracy of the optimization and selection to make the evaluation of curve fitting andprediction accuracy, resulting in stable good, high precision, easy operation, settlementdeformation prediction method for high-speed rail in the Gobi Desert region. After the study,the optimal method for predicting settlement deformation gray system GM (1,1) as the GobiDesert, the high-speed railway, the hyperbola of the genetic algorithm as a sub-optimal way.(4) Combined with the Access, Matlab, VB, three kinds of software, and establish asystem of settlement prediction system. The system should include data entry, datamodification, data query, prediction, curve drawing aspects. Database management,databasesearch and settlement data analysis and forecasting functions.
