So in this paper, based on multi-source data for public transportation,establishment of a scientific and rational evaluation and public transportation indexsystem, to provide a reliable basis for bus travel and industry managers.First, ponder on system perspective, combined with the characteristics of publictransport, from the convenience, speed, reliability and comfort and so on, to select thedegree of N-minute coverage of the bus station, average delivery speed, site intervalrunning time of volatility and public transport load factor, establish a publictransportation index system.Second, based on the bus line date, bus GPS operating data, and publictransportation IC card data, etc., on the basis of analysis of the characteristics of data,according to different types of data, establish a data processing model, whichcalculate the location of bus stops, and inter-site transport speed, delivery of bus andbasic cross-section passenger load factor, and verify the rationality of the results.Finally, the combination of the index system and basic indicators, from the timedimension and space dimension to build multi-angle multi-level evaluation method of public transport. To complete the Convenience Index, Faster Index, Reliability Indexand Comfortable Index. Take Beijing Public Transport operating data as an example,evaluate of the Beijing bus operating conditions, based on evaluation results, proposesome corresponding countermeasures.
