Due to the increase number of population, scarcity of land resources and otherfacts, the conflicts between urbanization and human living space have becomeobviously acute. In contrast, the underground space has vast development potential, development and utilization of which will be the only way to future development. Theera underground space has truly arrived. Considering economic, environmental andsocial effects, a three-dimensional development model with complex functions hasbeen widely accepted at home and abroad. Subway transportation combined with theunderground commercial space nowadays is prospering in large and medium-sizedcities in China. In such large-scale underground space with complex distribution ofpedestrians, fire will cause huge casualties and property losses. Therefore, it haspractical significance to carry out research on the design for evacuation space ofunderground complex with subway transportation.Chapter1of this thesis is to put forward questions. The research background isanalyzed, and the concept of underground complex with subway transportation isdefined. At the same time, the thesis relocates, compares and summarizes research athome and abroad on the evacuation of underground space, clarifying the contents ofthis thesis and research methods adopted as well as the research framework.Chapter2,3,4is to analyze problems. Chapter2analyzes the types andcharacteristics of underground complex with subway transportation, mainly from theperspectives of function, relationship with rail transportation, construction scale andthe depth of development. Chapter3discusses the causes and types of major disasters, mass evacuation and external rescue in the underground complex with subwaytransportation. With the help of the questionnaire, chapter4summarizes theinfluential factors on the evacuees, concludes the passenger constitution inunderground space with subway transportation, and states the unconventionalbehavior and psychological characteristics of the evacuees under fire and otheremergency situations.Chapter5is to solve the problem. Based on the research results of the formerchapters and the inherent properties of the underground complex with subwaytransportation, the author introduces a hierarchical classification of underground space, namely "whole--partition--unit", and puts forward a gradually deepening designstrategy for the underground evacuation. Finally, the key findings are summarized in the conclusion of this thesis.
