Accroding to current state-of-the-art in the carrier-borne UAVs requirementsbased on environmental conditions, such as in the city, from the mountains, forest orother complex environment conditions, An innovative approach to the design of thepoured turn culvert UAVs has been developed. The system design and structuraldesign have been performed based on technical feasibility analysis and schemecomparison. The proposed UAVs was combined the tilt-rotor aircraft technology andculverts word attitude control technology. The drawbacks of the recent UAVs, such asslow flying, complex control system has been solved by proposed UAVs. Theproposed UAVs not only can vertical take-off and land as unmanned helicopterhovering, but also fly as fast as the normal fixed-wing UAVs. It means that theproposed UAVs have advantages of the helicopter and the fixed-wing UAVssimultaneously. Furthermore, comparison to traditional unmanned helicopter, theproposed UAVs overcome the flight control couping serious problem, more stable andreliable, safe prevent touch and quiet.This article first presents the drone pneumatic calculation model. Then theinfluence factors of aerodynamic performance are discussed and its aerodynamicstructure layout is optimized. Second, the structure design and control system designof the poposed UAVs are presented.Third,an feasible pr-oject is presented based onthe aerodynamic characteristics, and the method is used to ca-lculate the characteristicof the flight and the model of the flight aerodynamic is established to analyze thecontrol lability and stability.Finally developed test model. The study provide technicalreserves and technical design experience for further design of the culvert UAVs,especially ways type pour turn culvert road overall design of UAVs.
