In order to meet the requirements of the trend heading short, small, light, and thinof the demands on the linear motor in the engineering field, a new H-shaped principleplate piezoelectric linear motor driven by the compounded longitudinal and bendingvibrations is proposed in this paper. The aims of the thesis are to research the workingprinciple of H-shaped linear motor, structural dynamical and test characteristics, aswell as related problems.Firstly, the thesis introduced the main researching value of linear motor on thebasement of the present status studies of piezoelectric linear motor characteristics athome and abroad systematically.Secondly, based on the hypothesis of vibrator modal, the driving principle ofH-shaped piezoelectric linear motor is detailed, and the motor principle is provedfeasibly in theory after inducing H-shaped longitudinal plate driving ends ellipticalmotion equation using the method of mathematics. After that, piezoelectric effect,piezoelectric properties and relative parameters which had a direct relationship on theactuation of motor driving are analyzed, and P-51piezoelectric ceramic is chosen asthe actuation element of H-shaped vibrator. In addition, the existence of presumedmodal is confirmed by utilizing the software simulation conclusions, including modalsimulation, sensitivity analysis, harmonic response analysis, optimization of structure,and so on. All of above, the relative sizes and PZT allocation configurations aredetermined for designing the assembly structure, and the assemble structure andphysical prototype are also manufactured in this paper.Finally, under the measurement of presumption of hammer testing on DSP labplatform,particular frequency and scanning frequency are conducted with takingadvantage of the device of PSV-300F laser Doppler vibration meter, and the resultsshowed that the vibrator existed the presupposed working mode. Furthermore, underthe normal conditions of actuations, the maximum vibration amplitude of longitudinaland bending could be got to1.2μm and1.4μm respectively. Besides, the relevant output specialty testing of physical prototype are also been achieved by using thedriving power, and the results showed that the driving speed can be reached to speed100mm/s on the voltage of240V.All of researches indicated that the dynamicalperformance of prototype is consistent with the accepted designing objects.The research is significantly funded by one of the key technology project ofJiangxi education department (number: GJJ10024).
