Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer Prestressed Concrete Prisms(CFRP-PCPs) is anew composite bars which is combined with Reactive Powder Concrete(RPC) and CarFiber Reinforced Polymer(CFRP) Bars.It has many excellent performances of two kindof new materials,such as high strength,high toughness,high durability of RPC and lightweight,high strength,corrosion resistance of CFRP. The concrete structure which is foundby CFRP-PCPs bars can solve the problem of corruptness for steel bars,and it can playthe import role in increasing durability,reducing weight and increasing carryingcapacity,increasing capacity of large span, improving distortion performance in theprophase of concrete structure.An experimental study and the corresponding theory analysis are conducted toinvestigate the behavior of structures reinforced with CFRP-PCPs bar under the financialsupport of Program“THE ANALYSIS OF MECHANICAL BEHAVIOR ANDASEISMATIC PERFORMANCE OF CONCRETE BEAMS REINFORCED WITHNEW CFRP-PCPs BARS”of Natural Science Foundation of China. The purpose of thedissertation is to solve the problem of concrete type,such as good ductility,superdurability,lighter structure,as well as less maintenance etc.It is shown that CFRP-PCPsbars play the import role in staving off cracking of the crack, reducing width of the crack,increasing stiffness,increasing carrying capacity,improving ductility and making use ofCFRP bars. This dissertation involves the following work:1.We succed in developing the produce technique, process and the anchor suitablefor CFRP-PCPs bars,after carrying on overal experimental studies.2.An experimental study of behavior performance of seven beams reinforced withCFRP-PCPs bars are conducted to analyze the mechanical behavior, failure Mode,ultimate flexural capacity,crack and distortion performance of concrete memberreinforced with CFRP-PCPs bars by considering the several factors of differentpresressing, different section size and different number of CFRP-PCPs bars. It is shownthat CFRP-PCPs bars play the import role in staving off cracking of the crack, improvingdistortion performance,increasing carrying capacity,improving ductility of the beam.The stress increment in prestressing tendons is most important in every factors.3.Four bridge decks reinforced with CFRP-PCPs bars under static loads are tested toanalyze the mechanical behavior, failure Mode, ultimate flexural capacity,crack anddeformation performance.The result shows that CFRP-PCPs bars play the importrole in staving off cracking of the crack, improving distortion performance,increasingcarrying capacity,improving ductility of the bridge decks.4. Based on the testing results, theory analysis and design of the beams and bridgedecks reinforced with CFRP-PCPs bar are studies,the design proposal of the crack load,flexural capacity, deformation, width and space of crack are developed,the calculatedvalues given by the formulas agree well with the experimental results.5. Nonlinear FEM analysis for the beams and bridge decks reinforced with CFRP-PCPs bars is accomplished by using of large general bussiness software-ANSYS.Inorder to research the effect of many factors,parameter analysis is carried out throughnonlinear FEM method based on the testing results.
