| With the development of society, hotel services facilities and the level of servicecontinues to improve, tourists’ consumer experience deepens and the increasingdiversification of consumer demand, there is a growing pursuit of individuality, qualityand uniqueness of the hotel also make more demands, especially need hotels offer aunique experience, as well as the spiritual and cultural enjoyment. So, theme hotels takeadvantage of,and also bring more understanding of this new consumer demand to thehotel designers,as well as the thinking of how to meet this requirement on the design.When some of the domestic theme hotels began to gain consumer recognition,achieved success in the fierce competition of the hotel industry, more hoteliers anddesigners started to pay attention to the study of new mode, and there have been anincreasing number of attempts in recent years.However,a lot of theme hotel marketperformance is not optimistic,the theme design would hurry onto the consumption stageis not yet ripe.Also, due to historical reasons, most of the hotel theme design preferenceto imitate the mature foreign design practice,or express the design theme as a foreignculture directly,Chinese local culture rather than overlooked.That themes are often notstrong enough when do not have access to the entire local region culture systemsupporting,also contrary to the inheritance and development of the rich cultural traditionin China.Now,the protection and evolution of local culture have more and moreattention,people’s pursuit of traditional culture continues to improve with the economicdevelopment,at the same time,countries made a number of cultural heritage protectionpolicy,and good results have been achieved.Thus,culture,particularly regional culturehas become a important factors in design innovation,and enhance the overall strength ofthe hotel.This thesis analysed and summarized the design strategy of regional culture themein hotel,including the early consolidation of regional culture resource,until the planningand design of the entire process,through the overview and study of hotel and localculture-architectural relevant factors.Different from the general hotel design,paperemphasized were the production, development and the corresponding changes ofregional culture theme,trying to provide a more optimized way on how to create aexperience cultural theme in the hotel design,then achieve market diversification requirements proposed by the hotel.At the same time,this thesis trying to provide more references to hotel buildersthrough a project design of Tujia nationality-themed hotel in the last part.Also hope thatthe analysis of this article deals with some thought and discussion, enables hotelresearchers and designers to give more attention to local culture. |
