With the rapid economic development and the energy reserves strategic need of thepetrochemical industry, in recent years our country has accelerated the construction paceof storage and transportation of oil systems. In our country petrochemical and it’srelated industry, the steel tank is the most widely used reserve container, play animportant role in energy use, supply and reproduction aspects. Because we oftenoverlooked the tank group effect when the group tank constructed and used, so makingthe stability of the tank group based on a certain degree of impact.In this paper, main work is study the characteristics of tank group basis underdifferent loading sequence settlement and tilt, FLAC3D finite analysis softwareapplication in the course of the study and numerical simulation analysis of the tankbase. During the simulation, create a small tank group model on the soft region, create asmall tank group model on the loess region, and create a medium tank group model onthe loess region and simulation analysis of ground deformation under different loadingsequence. Summary tank group based in the role of the different loading ordersettlement and tilt of the law, as well as the interaction between the group tank. Byanalyzing the tank center of the settlement, the plane tilted and non-planar, come to thesettlement of the tank group basis, tilt feature, find the ideal of a loading in the threeloading methods cross-loading method. The paper also analyzes the relationshipbetween stability of tank group basis and loading order when the groundwater levelchange. Which for the establishment of a small tank on the soft soil and loessfoundation, cross-loading method can effectively reduce the tank foundations,non-plane tilt, but for the small tank on the soft ground, different loading sequence can’tplay the purpose of adjustment differential settlement. On the loess foundation, the cross-loading method can make the tank foundations uneven significantly reduce.Through simulation analysis of medium-size tank of the loess area found that whenother things being equal, cross-loading method is more conducive to avoid theoccurrence of differential settlement between the tank group. And cross-plane tilt ofmedium-sized tanks and non-plane tilt control of the loading method are better than theother two methods.
