The earthquake as a natural disaster, often leads to a large houses collapsed and aserious threat to human life and property security. In recent years, the house ofshock-isolation technology performs very well in earthquake, and this isolationtechnology is accepted gradually by people. Now many scholars continuously explorenew bearings of light weight, convenient installation for low-rise houses. With thisone characteristic, this paper researches a new kind of fiber-PTFE board reinforcedrubber bearings. To get this new bearing production technology and mechanicalcharacteristics, this artical studies the pedestal design, material characteristics,manufacturing process, mechanical performance theory and test of this kind bearing.The main research work and the results are as follows:1. This paper proposes a kind of fiber PTFE board reinforced rubber bearings,The bearing reinforcement is fiber cloth and PTFE board. According to thedifference of reinforcement materials in bearing, research on the mechanicalproperties of materials, the adhesive performance between the fiber cloth,PTFE board and rubber and give the sulfide production process.2. According to the difference reinforcement of composition of the materialbearings, analyze the same material strengthening bearing model and twokinds of material strengthening bearing model. Through the introduction ofcompression factor and correction factor, the vertical stiffness, bias bearingsvertical stiffness and buckling stress and horizontal stiffness calculationformula are deduced. At the same, analyze how the parameters effect onbearing performance. The results show that the mechanical properties of thebearing can be optimized by reasonable control bearing shape parameters,especially for improving the bearing capacity and vertical stiffness.3. To verify the reliability of the theory, a series experiments about some fullscale bearings are carried out, respectively including the vertical test, leveltest and limiting test. By contrast of test and theoretical results, demonstratethe theory right. By contrast of experimental results of bearings, the resultsshow that, for the same structure of bearings, the different reinforcementmaterials have certain effect on the mechanical properties of the bearings,especially for the vertical stiffness of the bearings. including ptfe layer boardThe vertical stiffness and bearing capacity of the bearings containing ptfelayers is higher than the containing fiber cloth bearing, horizontal stiffness isnot significant. So reasonable internal form in bearing is helpful to improvethe bearing mechanical properties and stability, and also can meet the requestof vertical bearing capacity for different low-rise buildings isolation.
