| The cement-emulsified asphalt concrete is a new kind of semi-rigid pavement composite material by adding ordinary Portland cement instead of partial mineral filler into emulsified asphalt mixture, mixed and compacted at ambient temperature. It has the both advantages of Portland cement concrete and asphalt concrete. Many completed research and experiment pavement about cement-emulsified asphalt concrete in foreign countries indicated it have excellent performance. However, the design method, pavement performance and strength mechanism of the concrete are lack of systematic research in our country, which hinder its practical applications.To solve above-mentioned problem, with a large number of domestic and foreign documents concerning this subject help, this paper conducted a systemic researches on the cement emulsified bitumen concrete. At first, on the base of studying on the reasonable sample making method, curing methods and proper adding water volume of the cement emulsified bitumen concrete, the concrete design method is proposed. Then mechanical properties and road performance of cement emulsified asphalt concrete are tested according to mechanical and performance test methods of Portland concrete and asphalt concrete, and analyzed experiment data in different emulsified asphalt content, different cement content and different aggregate gradation. Because cement emulsified asphalt concrete with acidic aggregate has sufficient moisture susceptibility, silane coupling agent is used to improve its water stability. With the help of infrared spectra, interface adhesion mechanism between aggregate with cement-asphalt binder in the concrete added coupling agent is analyzed. The paper also use slag powder and white lime powder instead of cement complex to improve emulsified asphalt concrete pavement performance, and explain their mechanism. Finally,usig scanning electron microscopy, infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and other microscopic testing means, in conjunction with theoretical analysis, the author summed up the functions of cement in the emulsified asphalt concrete, explained the concrete performance mechanism from a microeconomic interface perspective, and reveals the composite form of cement hydration and asphalt in the in concrete. |
