The low permeability reservoirs of Liaohe Oilfield are huge. They are widely distributedin different burial depths and geological time, and formed different scales, trap types and oilproperties reservoirs. Now the annual output has achived for more than one million tons, andachieved the scale of the development.The study of low permeability reservoir percolation theory, is not only to know the flowlaw of low permeability oilfield, but also to improve the development level of lowpermeability oil field to provide theoretical and technical support.The common understandingabout the study on flow mechanism of low permeable reservoirs at home and abroad, that is,low permeability reservoirs have different flow characteristics with general high permeabilityreservoir: first low permeability reservoirs have starting pressure gradient; the two issecondly,the pressure gradient and the permeability is in "hyperbolic relationship";thirdly, thelow permeability has significantly effect on the recovery rate, which is the lower thepermeability, the lower the recovery rate.For the flow mechanism of low permeability reservoir is special, also the geologicalcharacteristic is complex and the injecting water can cause stratum pollution, the Liaohe lowpermeability reservoirs did not achieve effective water injection. Most is in the natural energydevelopment stage with low oil recovery rate, low recovery degree and poor developmenteffect. How to achieve effective water flooding development in low permeability reservoirs isa very meaningful research proposition.This thesis starts from the geological characteristics of the low permeability reservoirXinhuan27Block, made a detailed analysis of the structural characteristics, sedimentarycharacteristics, reservoir characteristics, oil water distribution and fluid properties for therevitalizing waterflooding. Then based on the geology research, the development effectevaluation is carried out in detail, which analysed the past water flooding effect and made asummary of the characteristics and causes. It can provide valuable information for therevitalizing waterflooding design.The plan is based on the remaining oil research, and theindex is predicted through numerical simulation of the reservoir.The research has positive significance to improve the low permeability reservoirdevelopment effect.It has a very broad application space and value in the Liaohe oil field, alsohas important reference and guidance value for the low permeability reservoir effectivedevelopment in future.
