| With the ever-rising requirement of environmental protection, many countries put forward a more and more strict requirement in gasoline quality, especially for the sulfur and olefin content in the gasoline. Decreasing the olefin and sulfur content in FCC gasoline is a main route to improve the quality of gasoline in China. Multifarious technologies for decreasing the olefin and sulfur content in FCC gasoline from refinery were summarized in the paper.Based on the production of clean gasoline in3#FCC Unit of Sinopec Shanghai Gaoqiao Company over the years, the industrial application of special catalyst GOR-Q, MIP technology and special catalyst CR022for MIP process for olefin reduction in FCC gasoline was study. The results show that those technologies can meet the demand of decreasing olefin content in FCC gasoline and MIP process is an ideal technology to decrease olefin content in FCC gasoline. The industrial application of S Zorb technology for absorption and removal of sulfur in FCC Gasoline was emphatically investigated. As a result, using S Zorb technology can decrease the sulfur content in the FCC gasoline to30μg/g even less than10μg/g, which completely meets the demand of the China National Standards Ⅳ even Ⅴ for sulfur content in gasoline, Meanwhile RON loss is only about0.6unit. Using the domestic sorbent in S Zorb Unit, the desulfurization ability of S Zorb process is slightly less than that of using import sorbent. But the domestic sorbent has a better performance in reducing octane loss. The problems of S Zorb technology in industrial application were pointed out and their solutions were given. The success of the industrial application of S Zorb technology in Sinopec Shanghai Gaoqiao Company can provide a good model for its further promotion. |
