Nowadays, water flooding development in oil fields has been popular worldwild, and hasa wealth of experience. However, the recovery of water flooding is usually only20%to40%,that is, when the water flooding development reaches the economic limit, there is still morethan half of the oil trapped in the reservoir. So it’s an important issue to explore the residualoil. Especially after a long time of water flooding, the distribution of residual oil becomesmore dispersed. And with the reservoir anisotropy increasing, development complexityincreases as well, which eventually causes three major contradictions in oil field development:intrastratal contradictory, interzonal contradictory and planar contradictory. All thesecontradictories aggravate the difficulties in residual oil development. Faced with this series ofproblems, petroleum engineers around the world are devoted to deepen the understanding ofthe reservoir and its characteristics, identify the principal contradiction, and confirm theresidual oil distribution. And then work out a more corresponding development solution, eventually impove the recovery. This paper aims at the digital and analog evaluation of potential exploitation measures inBei3xi northeast test region. The main works and results are listed as follows.First of all, the paper analyses the geological characteristics and development status inthe test region, and draws the histogram of physical properties and curve of developmenteffect. Then processes well position data, stratified data, attribute data and phase diagram data. With the use of Petrel software, a three-dimensional geologic model which based on phasecontrol model in the study area was established. The numerical model had been established byEclipse, reserves fitting and history matching based on dynamic production data of the wellarea, giving the well area liquid production, oil production and moisture content of fittingcurve, and giving a single well fitting curve, fitting accuracy allowed within the range.Secondly, according to the results of numerical simulation, analyze the residual oil typein the study well and study plane residual oil distribution and longitudinal residual oildistribution law to determine tapping potential of remaining oil in the research wells zone;Based on numerical model, under the situation of no measures have water flooding effectprediction and polymer flooding development effect prediction, then according to the currentoil and gas wells with measures, predict the polymer flooding development effect with noincreasing measures. Finally, this paper selects the best method and timing of residual oil potentialexploitation, maily about the profile adjustment, separate injection and fracturing. Select awell in a layer of contradictory, and implement fracture in different stage (effectiveness,low-value, picking up and successor water flooding). Project4forecasts the finaldevelopment effect with fracture; Select a well with interzonal contradictory, and implementseparate injection in different stage (effectiveness, low-value and picking up). Project3forecasts the final development effect with separate injection; Select wells in different position (riveway, hejian, and the transition from each other), and implement subsectionfracturing during different polymer injection (effectiveness, low-value and picking up).Project12fordcasts the final development effect with well fracturing.Eventually this paper gives acomprehensive adjustment program.
