In recent years, with the development of China’s economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, slaughtering industry scale unceasing expansion, the slaughterhouse wastewater discharge is increasing. These large emissions of organic wastewater of high CODg. high nitrogen, high fat, high suspended solids, if not dealt with effectively and directly discharged into the river in town, will cause serious effect on the water. Therefore, scientific and effective to solve the problem of slaughterhouse wastewater treatment has become an important goal of China’s slaughtering industry sustainable economic development and environmental protection.According to the characteristics of water quality of slaughter wastewater, based on extensive literature and on-the-spot investigation, combined with the Shandong status process, slaughtering industry water treatment, determine the biological contact oxidation and SBR two sets for biological reaction unit of slaughter-house wastewater treatment. Through the experimental study, the optimum parameters of different reactor in the test run, and the two set of biological reaction unit is analyzed by comparing the contrast, choose a good treatment effect, reasonable economy, adapt to the biological treatment of slaughterhouse wastewater quality and quantity characteristics of current, optimization of process for treatment of slaughterhouse wastewater, have certain reference to the treatment of slaughter-house wastewater in the process of selection of subject.The main research of this test is water biochemical treatment unit in slaughter wastewater treatment effect, experiment with a meat dish, sewage stations in Shandong province after floatation pretreatment after running stable after the water as raw water. Results show:the slaughterhouse sewage station running stable aerobic activated sludge as seed sludge biological contact oxidation and SBR reactor, can improve the reactor start-up phase of the sludge acclimation efficiency, rapid acclimation reactor can complete aerobic microorganisms in two weeks time. The reactor inlet, outlet temperature of15~20℃, pH at6~7.5, suitable for the growth of microorganism and the new supersedes the old., facilitate biochemical test.The success of the biofilm in the inoculated biological contact oxidation reactor, by adjusting the volume of aeration and water flow to control the dissolved oxygen and the hydraulic residence time in the reactor, to find out the best operating conditions under this test condition from. At the same time, through the experiment, after a successful start-up, biological contact oxidation reactor for different water concentration removal effect is stable, the removal rate of CODCr can reach above90%, the ammonia nitrogen removal rate can reach more than60%, the turbidity removal can reach above90%, can be seen on the removal efficiency of organic compounds the biochemical unit well, on the water quality, water fluctuations have strong adaptability, strong capacity of resisting impact load.Also in the reaction device into SBR after the operation, and through the early commissioning test run, through different aeration time and dissolved oxygen conditions of CODCr, ammonia nitrogen and turbidity removal rate effect analysis, found in the success of the SBR reactor operation, water quantity, water quality in constant changes little conditions under the removal rate of pollutants, the removal rate of CODcr can reach above90%, the ammonia nitrogen removal rate can reach more than70%, the turbidity removal can reach more than95%, stable water quality of effluent, this method in the treatment effect, especially on the removal of ammonia nitrogen and suspended solids are superior to the biological contact oxidation process.Through the water outlet effect comparison of biological contact oxidation and SBR reactor, operation characteristic and operation cost, can be seen as the SBR biochemical unit without hanging film culture, rapid start, from debugging to normal operating cycle time is short, the operation and the intermittent, without the need for continuous operation of24h, to a large extent adaptation the actual production needs, in addition to SBR don’t worry plug replacement of packing and aeration system, and save a lot of money and energy, has high economic benefit and environmental benefit. So the SBR reactor is more suitable to the need of actual operation of slaughterhouse wastewater industry processing to the present, has high research value and application value.
