Research On Design Reuse Technology For Care Apparel

The demand for special clothing service for the elderly and disabled to solve their dressing problems has increased in recent years in developed countries due to the large population of elderly and disabled people.However, limited human resource,and a long design and production process restrict the service capacity and lead to the waste of cost and resources. There are lots of repeated labor in design and production process. So in order to improve the care apparel design cycle, the design reuse technology is introduced.This article research on product reuse technology, combined with the product characteristics and reuse needs of Carp Apparel, proposed reuse technology which is suitable for care apparel and implemented a Care Apparel design reuse platform based on the product design features.First of all, research on care apparel design reuse modeling technology. With the combination of design reuse technology and the design characteristics of care apparel, analyz the reusability of care apparel products, clear and definite the characteristics of care apparel design reuse. proposed a suitable reuse modeling technology for care apparel, then according to the proposed modeling technology established the classification tree and product family of care apparel.Secondly, proposed the reuse retrieval technology for care apparel. Base on the analysis of current typical retrieval algorithm and care apparel reuse modeling technology, proposed the design reuse retrieval algorithm which is suitable for care apparel.Finally, realized the design reuse system for care apparel. Based on the research about design reuse modeling technology and reuse retrieval technology for care apparel, combining care apparel product design and reuse requirements, established a design reuse platform for care apparel. Then test the system, and use JIRA to manage the sofeware defects appeared in the process of coding and testing.The production of this paper on reuse related technology for care apparel provides a new way of thinking and has some value of reference application. At present,the care apparel design reuse platform has been used by the Troels H.Povlsen Care Apparel Centre of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. of science and technology run to those who are well used clothing center. The future research on product design reuse of care apparel can be based on this paper research results.
