Intersecting Line Cutting Control Algorithm And Software Development

Based on the understanding of intersecting line cutting control software, common pipe intersection types of intersecting line cutting of the mathematical models have been established in this paper. The models include:the main pipe intersecting hole cutting and branch pipe end face of the intersecting line cutting in the cylinder and cylinder intersection; Cylinder cutting polygon intersecting hole and the shrimp section of each pipe intersection line cutting in the cylindrical and plane intersection; Cylindrical end intersecting line cutting in cylinder and ring intersection, and conical end face of the cylindrical and conical intersection cutting conical intersection hole cutting and cylindrical end face cutting in the cylinder and core intersection.After intersecting line mathematical models were built, discrete methods on the intersecting line cutting trajectory algorithm were compared and errors were analyzed. Then feature points method were selected as the algorithm research, because of higher accuracy and less points, which improves productivity effect and quality as well. Taking full account of the welding process, and processing of pipe wall thickness, fittings groove mathematical model was built and summarized too.In this paper, the algorithm core was programmed by MATLAB. Necessary machining data can be obtained after the corresponding data are input. The software provides parameterized friendly interface, where CAD software is combined. The software also provides the image display module, simulation module, allowing users to understand the processing results clearly so that they can make a decision if any data modification is needed. The software can run freely without MATLAB environment.Finally, through the cutting experiment, the feasibility of this topic algorithm and the reliability of this software are verified.
