During the forming of complex structure products, assembly is the important link. With the development of manufacturing industry in the increasingly fierce competition, the development of Market demand for the product to species diversity,structure complexity and shortens the research period.The feasible improvement of assembly process could improve product quality,reduce product development cycles and production costs.Assemblability evaluation did fully take into account of assembly in the early design, the problems could be find quikly for redesign the products.On the basis of analyzing factors that affect the assemblability of products,a fuzzy evaluation model for evaluating the assemblability of products was presented by using the method of "Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation+Analytic Hierarchy Process". By using Visual Basic for secondary development of DELMIA,the assemblability evaluation system both at the level of parts and products were established.Designers can analyze and evaluate the performance of assembly,detect interferences simulate assembly process among parts or products in order to redesign the prodcts.Fanally,take the steering gear for example, the assemblability evaluation system of complex structure products is verified.
