Study On Female Adaptation Prototype In Apparel Customization System

Apparel customization as one of the development trend of the apparel industry hashigh requirements on tailored accuracy and customization efficiency. Based on the study ofaccuracy-affecting factor and the forming principle, this paper refines the idea of“Adaptation Prototype”. The establishment of benchmark block database and change ruledatabase is the key technology ofApparel Customization System.Technically speaking customized apparel patterns are base on the differences in valuebetween individual size and benchmark size.And then call to the established change rules;create the corresponding body patterns for individual customer bodies. The apparel-useddata varies considerably from one person to another, for this reason the ApperalCustomization System can’t draft accurate matching patterns just based on standard blockfor any kind of body shape. Therefore, in order to solve the customization accuracyproblem, modification of the benchmark block must be in progress and the conception of“Adaptation Prototype” is proposed on the analysis of somatotype. The customizationpatterns based on “Adaptation Prototype” can for one hand grasp the characteristics ofnominate body type to enhance the customization accuracy, and for the other hand decreasethe difference value between customer body data and the prototype to reduce theprobability of pattern deformation. Modern3D scanning technology can acquire body datawhich satisfied the customization need and support the research of apparel “AdaptationPrototype”.This paper includes five parts:1. Female body data acquisition and pretreatment preprocessing.2. Somatotype classification based on apparel customization.3. The construct of female adaptation prototype for Apparel Customization System.4. The extract of female adaptation parameters forApparel Customization System.5. The construction of female apparel customization software, and the test of apparel customization accuracy.The first four parts are theoretical research of benchmark block; the last part is aboutfemale apparel customization software construction.The main innovation of this paper is: Based on large quantities of three-dimensionalbody measured data, Generate science-based adaptation prototypes cover all categories offigure types, rebuild the change parameters.To sum up, this paper extracts and analysis the characteristics of the female body data,obtains somatotype classification using fuzzy clustering recognition method, constructs thefemale adaptation prototypes and extracts the change rules. The application of theAdaptation Prototype can improve the accuracy of customized apparel, and can be settledfor customer service and business customization.
