In the present higher vocational colleges and secondary vocational schools, students are expected to combine theory with practice and in order to meet the demands of corresponding jobs, which requires the students to become familiar with various production machinery or practice through experimental equipment. In order to enable students to better adapt society and to meet the requirement of highly skilled personnel, under the leadership of the labor and social security departments, the vocational colleges carry out various forms of test work. In the process of work, that I have been engaged in, I have found that higher vocational colleges and secondary vocational schools lack the necessary equipment needed to provide the students with a comprehensive understanding of the job they will be expected to perform. A lot of schools have faulty equipment that is placed in the laboratory as a decoration, they have outdated devices, and the advanced equipment that does exist is only used by a few teachers who are familiar with their use. And because of the limitations of the class, students are not familiar with the equipment. This leaves them with a fragmented understanding, students do not have a detailed understanding of the whole process and they have no hands-on experience. At the same time, factories have expensive equipment which runs non-stop requiring low failure rate and less repair time. If a new employee is assigned to a post like such as the maintenance department, he will know nothing at the beginning. He will lack practical ability, analytical capacity, not be familiar with the operation of electrical control circuits, and so on. But once faults occur, in order to continue production as quickly as possible, troubleshooting and repair are required immediately, they will be unfamiliar with the equipment and too much production time will be lost. It is impossible to let a novice investigate them slowly. So how to debug or repair some unfamiliar equipment? We can only rely on the science and technology experimental platform, which let a novice drill with various experimental benches, so the experimental platform is essential equipment.Lets consider the above two aspects of investigation and research, from automated production perspective. If we combine the mechanical devices such as the X62W universal milling machines with automation control equipment PLC, an experimental platform can be made to allow electrical learners to have an understanding of the machine’s moving parts so that they can control them through identification of electrical schematic diagram. At the same time, in order to help students with their ability to analyze problems and gain a better understanding of electrical schematics, I set up experiments where a machine will fail in various ways so that students can witness the symptoms and react accordingly. In order to better combine the traditional relay and PLC control systems, and to make a more convenient comparison for the users, experiment tables can be equipped with a conversion function between the relay protection control systems and PLC. Designers can also create a control program for a milling machine and store it in PLC and at the same time set aside a portion of the functions in the experiment platform, so the users can program automatically, debug, control, and even expand the bench function.According to the above requirements, the anther designs a simulation test-bed, using PLC control technology, and electrical control technology, and combining machine maintenance with debugging and troubleshooting techniques. The test bench provides an integrated experimental platform for electric courses, PLC and repair electrical courses. The test bench can also provide students and new workers with a knowledge integration and training platform. The simulation sets adopt the S7-200series PLC control produced by German Siemens, using the relay component, three-phase asynchronous motor, analog X62W machine automatic control and manual control. And the bench sets the corresponding points of failure and failure boxes with which operators can not only clearly identify the electrical schematics to simulate action, but also make electrical control circuit debugging, troubleshooting and PLC programming operation and extended simulation exercises on the electrical control circuit.
