An Empirical Study Of The Tourists’ Environment Literacy In Natural Scenice Areas

The sustainable tourism development of natural scenic areas depends on tourists’ good environoment literacy; tourists environmental literacy is directly related to natural scenic areas resources and environment of sustainable development.Therefore analyzing and understanding tourists environmental literacy, and carries on environmental education to tourists, is essential to the promotion of the sustainable development of natural scenic areas.In this paper, based on the theory of tourism sustainable development.Combined with existed research literature, the content of tourism sustainable development, tourists" environmental literacy,environmental management and environmental education were discuss. On the base of past research and scales, try to modify the scale base on the existed literature which studied on scales inland.Then study takes Zhangjiajie as a sample, and anlyzes the environmental literacy of tourists.The research proved that:tourists environmental literacy includes tourists environmental knowledge, tourists environmental awareness and tourists environmental behavior; tourists environmental knowledge includes two aspects: tourism-related environmental knowledge and channels of tourism environment knowledge acquisition; tourists environmental awareness includes:tourism awareness of environmental hazards and awareness of environmental protection in tourism; tourists environmental behavior also includes sexual self-discipline.self-discipline sexual orientation and law of his sexual. Tourists environmental awareness is relatively higher;Tourists environment knowledge and environment behavior, tourists environmental awareness have significant positive effects, tourists environment knowledge and environmental awareness have significant positive effects to tourists environment behavior;Different characteristics of tourists have an impact on tourists environmental literacy in a certain extent. Finally, the research gives some suggestion on how to improve the trouists’environmental literacy and natural scenic areas tourism the sustainable development.
