With the development of computer and network technology, distributed numerical control DNC is more generally used in the manufacturing production, the network and integration in CNC machining has become the inevitable trend of the development of the manufacturing industry. The status quo of China’s CNC machine tools is economic and popular type of CNC machine tools accounted for large percent of the total amount of CNC machine tools.These numerical control equipments are in a stand-alone operation, and management is in the discrete state, no information technology and network integration. In order to improve the level of China’s manufacturing industry, it is necessary to develop and produce high-performance CNC machine tools and give full play to the performance and efficiency of existing equipment at the same time. DNC system is the basis of networked manufacturing and integrated manufacturing. However, due to our existing large number of middle and low numerical control device configuration of the system, the data transmission interface and communication protocol are different.It is difficult to fulfill network management by using computer network technology, more difficult is that the communication structure of the DNC system is point-to-point or LAN type, not a good solution to the DNC system communication competition issues.The topic is account for complishing communications competition in the DNC system, the procedure proposed by the simulation for program consumption rate of NC machine. In related study, the simulation for program consumption rate of NC machine’s measurement is usually the estimation method, which was only to calculate the length of the workpiece surface, combined with the feed rate to roughly estimate the contour length, in this method the actual operation of the tool path length is discrepancy, the reliability of the results is very low. This topic is studying CNC system control mechanism and analyzing tool running path in the process, various parameters affecting the running of the tool (such as the tool radius compensation, tool length compensation, acceleration and deceleration control, tool change time-consuming factors), and build a mathematical model, use programming tools to calculate the result in order to provide the basis for the solution of the DNC communication competition issues.The topic is mainly studying the NC code which was generated automatically by the CAD/CAM software, using well-known rapid development tools Delphi as a platform, to use Access database, the parameters, data and the calculation results running in the program are stored into the data table in the well-established Access database, the calculation process was progressive extracted in data table. Procedures that designed in this way are a simple and clarity structure, it is easy to debug problems in the sequential evaluation process. The topic is proving the accuracy of the software’s calculation in XK7150CNC milling machine in the mechanism of the hall of Lanzhou Jiaotong University.Analysis results of test proved that the results of the software’s calculation is accurate. The result can provide a basis for universal design of the Software.
