Application Of Numerical Control Technology In Redwood Carving

China has a history of thousands of years,have a variety of skills.Rosewood carving is a treasure of traditional culture Chinese,but with the development of the times,our increasingly fast pace of life,and carved rosewood because of its long processing time,high rejection rate,carving technician training cycle is long,high strength,material processing and manufacturing of expensive mahogany materials more waste and other reasons,the a legendary feats are gradually withered.On the contrary,the numerical control technology is just emerging with the development of rapid,stable quality,high precision,fast speed,easy operation,more and more show its vitality and development.It can be said carved mahogany and NC technology is the two technologies complement each other,xiangjianhenwan.But because of the late start,professional differences,integration of the two technologies is not very good,and even a kind of Scholars scorn each other.On the basis of summarizing the domestic and foreign literature,this paper mainly studies the application of numerical control technology and its related software in the Redwood carving.In order to break the professional limitations,to achieve the purpose of discipline integration.As an example,from the perspective of optimizing the processing technology,this paper discusses the technical integration of NC technology and redwood carving.On the one hand,to seek more reasonable processing technology,to provide technical support for the development of mahogany carving enterprises,on the other hand to improve the carved mahogany art,reduce the difficulty,broaden the restriction,to allow more people to join in this industry,the traditional culture is not lost to Chinese.This paper introduces the history,development and present situation of annatto carving,explains its bottleneck and points out the direction of solving: it can apply numerical control technology to the industry of annatto carving.Describes the related software JUMN3D-SUN 3D scanner,JDPaint design software,nuocheng NC converter,Ncstudio control system,RichAuto control system,using the software,can replace the tedious but essential knowledge and skills of Chinese woodworking engraving.The experiment content for relief after entering the processing design and development stage,through 3D scanning,software design,finally designs two kinds of relief work,the general process parameters,and study the CNC engraving setting,machining process,tool selection,preparation for the experiment.To carry out specific engraving experiment,after operation by rosewood carving products,and the experimental process and results,to share some experience,reflect some problems and provide some suggestions,get a conclusion: the application of NC technology in mahogany carving is feasible and necessary,through the integration of technology better,can let the old two the new generation of technology blooming life.
