In this paper, y-cyclodextrin was chosen as host, poly(vinyl alcohol) was chosen as guest, crystalline inclusion compound formation was observed between PVA and y-CD (y-CD:PVA molar ratios=10:1, reacted80hours under80℃). Confirmation of the molecular assemblies was achieved by characterizing the PVA/y-CD inciusion complex with Optical rotation, FT-IR, TGA,’H-NMR, XRD and AFM.The molecularly imprinted polymer was prepared by using AM as functional monomers, MBA as cross linker, BSA as the template, and APS and NaSO3as initiator. And molecularly imprinted polymer with molecular assemblies was synthesized, the adsorption and recognition properties of the polymer were studied, the absorbed protein were detected with sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The SDS-PAGE results showed that the protein be washed with0.50mol-L-1KCl aqueous was imprinted by the imprinting polymer. The results showed that the ratio of AM to MBA has great influence on the adsorption capacity. The molecular imprinting system with molecular assemblies provided better recognition to the target protein than the imprinting system without molecular assemblies, and the adsorption capacity to the template BSA is about4.15mg/g, the separation factor to mixture protein is about18.23. The Langmuir adsorption models were applied to describe the equilibrium isotherms. The theoreical maximum adsorption capacity was18.51mg/g and Langmuir adsorption equilibrium constant was1.17mL/mg.
