The tunnel surrounding rock conditions are complexity on Daye Iron Mine,the contact zoneof ore and rock is soft broken and the jointed development. Use the GFRP bolt alternative tubeseam bolt supporting on roadway have an effective solution to the bolt corrosion failure. Theanchoring effect and the reliability of support is the key technical issues for successfulapplication of the GFRP bolting.Established the bolt pull-out test model in the laboratory based on similar theoretical study,conducting the anchoring force test about anchorage length,established the curve of anchoringforce and the anchorage length. Combined with the analysis of construction process,the averagepulling force is34KN of end anchoring,and the average pulling force is90KN of total length,formed the total length of anchor support mode. Using the FLAC3Dnumerical calculation ofsoftware to comparative analysis the supporting effect of the GFRP bolt and the pipe seam bolt,while the overall effect of supporting for the GFRP bolt is quite with the pipe seam bolt,but theGFRP is better than the pipe seam bolt on improving the surrounding rock by the force andcoordination of the surrounding rock deformation,and the support safety factor higher than thepipe seam bolt. Calculated the reliability of GFRP blot is0.9015by Monte Carlo directlysampling method,meet the engineering reliability of roadway support in iron mine. Based on thesupport mechanism of the GFRP bolt and the project geological conditions of Daye Iron Mine,determined the support program of the GFRP bolting,provide a promote use of the GFRP blotsupporting applications on roadway of Daye Iron Mine.
