This paper analyses the developing situation of the CNC woodworking machineryin China and abroad, introducing the development direction of the CNC woodworkingmachinery in the future. According to the present development situation of thewoodworking sawing device, this study summarizes the main existing problems of thesawing device. According to the market demand and the production problems atpresent, we develop a model MJK6224CNC Crossing Edge Sawing Machinesupported by our group’s comprehensive strength.Considering the factors which affect the sawing machine’s general layout, wework out an overall scheme and have a concisely discuss on the key parts, initially setthe overall parameters. Through the structure analysis of the prevalent CNC sawingmachine, we design the machine with the cantilever structure. The paper also describesthe performance characteristics of the CNC Crossing Edge Saw Machine.This paper provides a detailed analysis of the selection of the sawing machine’simportant parts, including the ball screw selection calculation, servo motor and reducerselection calculation. At the same time the paper carry out the mechanical analysisand checking calculations for cantilever column connecting the bolt group to ensurethe reliability of the machine work.Finally, use the Pro/E software to build the solid model, to assemble and to simulatethe motion. Through the simulation movement analysis, we find the existing defects anddeficiencies in design, then to improve and perfect in advance,achieve the best designscheme, shorten the design period and reduce designing cost.In this paper the designed MJK6224CNC Crossing Edge Sawing Machine is withthe features of reasonable structure, moderate price, efficient processing and goodmachining precision, etc. This machine should have a broad market prospect.
