With the rapid development of science and technology, high-grade numericalcontrol machine has a tendency to high speed, high precision, high efficiency.High-speed horizontal processing center has many merits, which i s also one of thedirection of modern numerical control machine development. After a fixture, complexcomponents can accomplish almost all the function of processing operations. It willimprove the production efficiency and machine accuracy. It ‘s the key facility in manyfields, such as power generation, marine, automobile, aerospace and precisioninstrument and so on. And it also has great use and bright development prospects.The bed is the key and foundation member of High-speed Horizontal MachiningCenter, And the size, structure and weight of the machine bed, the static anddynamic stiffness, vibration resistance and thermal stability affect the performanceof the whole machine directly. This paper discusses the overall scheme of therecommended machine process and design method. Meanwhile, it also analyzes theactual work condition and good performance lathe bed structure. In the end, I makethe final determination of practical optimal development programs. The main researchcontents are as follows:First, I put forward the design scheme of the horizontal processin g center andmachine bed. I also analysis the design requirements and the performance indicatorsof the high speed machining center’s machine bed. And absorb the domestic andforeign design methods, optimization technique and processing craft. According tothe principles of modular design, the design indicators, and machine performance, Iset up the3d PRO/E entity model, import it into AWE analysis software, andestablish the finite analysis model, which lays a good foundation for the analysis ofthe static and dynamic performance.Second, Static and dynamic analysis of High-Speed Horizontal MachiningCenter bed. According to the main load-carrying capability including slippery lathebed, tool storage and cutting force as well as statics analysis, th e paper shows lathebed’s stress field and displacement field intuitively. At the same time, it also makes aresearch of the processing center’s modality. It also displays the national frequencyand vibration mode directly, which lays the basement for the lightweight design.Third, the lightweight design of machine bed in high-speed horizontal machine Center bed. Considering various design parameters, I am established the topologicaloptimization model including the construction of topological optimization space,boundary conditions and parameters settings. Based on calculation results oftopological optimization, we will get the stress distribution in its material basicframework. In accordance with the requirements of the manufacture process andconsidering its design requirements fully, we will gain the lightweight lathe bed withexcellent structure, which meets various performance.
