Static cracking agent (SCA) is a kind of material to utilize the material’sexpansion in the change process of brittleness crushing, cutting and destruction. It hasbeen widely used in mining and cutting of precious stone and precious minerals.Comparing to the explosives blasting method, it has many advantages, which includeno blasting wave, no flying stone, no quake, no noises and no poisonous gas etc. Incutting brittle materials, it won’t produce any latent crack. Therefore, it is a safe,efficient and pollution-free cracking material, which has been widely utilized.This paper mainly studies the mixed static cracking agent. It conducts volumeexpansibility test for the main agent calcium oxide, and found that to choose calciumoxide that has been directly calcined by powdered whiting will make better crackingagent, which has the features of volume expansion, stable performance, and no sprayholes.Then taking Enshi’s local material as main material, and together with relatedauxiliary materials, through single factor experiment, it can be found that within acertain range, the swelling pressure of static crushing agents rise up with the increaseof calcium oxide and bentonite content. With the increase of cement content, swellingpressure rises up at first, and then goes down. The increase of gypsum content leads tono obvious change in swelling pressure.To achieve optimization formulations by four-factor and three-level orthogonalexperiment, the best formula is developed by quicklime at900℃and1100℃. In26°C temperature conditions, the initial packing density was1.59g/ml and1.91g/ml,and respectively reaches to44.5MPa and49.3MPa after10hours and12hours. Afterrepeated experimental verification, the author found in the case of constanttemperature, the swelling pressure of static cracking agent is relatively stable.Under the temperature of900℃, the main agent is calcined, and static crushingagent’s performance test shows that within a certain temperature range, the swellingpressure of static crushing agents rises up with the increase of temperature. And itgoes down with the increase of cement water ratio. With the increase of the initial packing density it will goes up.The static cracking agent can be acted on the cement block, and achieve goodresults. And the author gives a preliminary mechanism analysis for the crackingphenomenon. The results of the analysis are very good, and laid a solid foundation tocontinue to develop in the future.
