Barrenwort is a common kind of medicinal herbs which contains the chief effective chemicals of Epimedium flavonoids. Extraction and purification of flavonoids from Barrenwort have a grest significance on the application of Epimedium.The extraction and purification technological conditions of flavonoids from Epimedium were optimized using orthogonal experiment. The results showed that with65%ethanol solution as solvent, using microwave assisted extraction of Epimedium Flavonoids, the optimum conditions was that the ratio of material to65%ethanol solvent was1:14,1:12and1:12, and extraction time was20min. Contrast D1400, HZ-841, PA03060polyamide resin for barrenwort flavonoids dynamic adsorption and elution effect, HZ-841is optimal.2g HZ-841macroporous resin was used to purify30mL solution of flavonoids content of2mg/mL80mL water,40mL20%ethanol,40mL85%ethanol,20mL95%ethanol gradient elution, flow rate1.5mL/min. The content of total Flavonoids was71.8%in the extract, and Icariin content was9.44%, dry extract of Epimedium Pieces yield was3.25%. Flocculation solution was purified by HZ-841resin, the dry76.3%of the total Flavonoids in the extract, Icariin content of10.3%, dry extract of Epimedium Pieces yield of2.30%.
