With the application of Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), convenient and rapid methods for determination of alkaloids in Corydalis Tuber extract and classification for samples from different locations have been researched. Five different samples were collected according to their geographical origin,2-Der with smoothing point of17was applied as the spectral pre-treatment, and the1st to scaling range algorithm was adjusted to be optimal approach, classification model was constructed with all Sensitivity over2and100%recognition rate. For prediction model, the root mean square errors of cross-validation (RMSECV) for Protopine,Palmatine,Tetrahydropalmatine were0.000884,0.00183,0.00323mg/g; and the correlation coefficients (R2) were99.75,98.41and97.34%respectively. Therefore NIRS is a reliable analytical tool in establishing prediction and classification models.Determination models of Amlodipine and Atorvastatin by near infrared spectroscopy (NIR) were established with correlation coefficients (R2):92.11,94.33%, and RMSECV:0.162,0.371%; which can be the control of quality of Amlodipine Besylate and Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets. Preparative isolation of Amlodipine and Atorvastatin from Tablets using a new separation scheme, centrifugal partition chromatography (CPC).The Amlodipine and Atorvastatin fraction was prepared from CPC using a two-phase solvent system of n-hexane-ethyl acetate-ethanol-water(2.5:5:3:5, v/v/v/v); and two active constituents were successfully isolated.
