Wetland is one of human survival and development environments. As a water source it not only can direct used or supplement the groundwater, but also can adjust the atmospheric composition, water regulation, the local micro-climate, and provide the venue for the animal habitats. Wuhan Urban Agglomeration affects various aspects of Hubei Provine. The status of wetlands of Wuhan Urban Agglomeration is directly related to wetland of Hubei Province. Hubei Province is in central China, and it has an important impact on the development of the country. Wetland of Wuhan Urban Agglomeration plays a vital role for Hubei or even country. This article is with support of the science and technology projects in Wuhan City, which named "Wuhan City Circle wetland resource protection and wetland ecological construction countermeasures "(20094083338-2). Firstly, we use the ERDAS to deal with sensing data, and establish the interpretation signs of Wuhan Urban Agglomeration, and then through the processed image, China’s wetlands classification standards and site visits, the Wuhan Urban Agglomeration wetland is divided into five types and then we can find the information in two decades of the five types of wetlands. We use ArcGIS to draw the five types of spatial and temporal changes of wetlands in Wuhan Urban Agglomeration map, through the spatial and temporal analysis of the wetlands for the three years, we can came to the conclusion that the wetland changes in condition. Factors affecting wetlands in this article points to two reasons:natural causes and social reasons. It reveals the main impact of wetland changes to use statistical software SPSS13.0software and use correlation analysis. Finally, according to the wetland problems we given the appropriate measures to achieve sustainable development of Wuhan Urban Agglomeration. The results of this study show that Natural wetlands area is reduced, and artificial wetland area increase. Reduction in wetland area and the over-exploitation of resources affects biodiversity. This will enable the reduction of wetland area. Pollutants generated in the production and living flow to the wetlands, resulting in deterioration of water quality of wetlands, the ecological function is weakened. The problem is mainly caused by the humanistic reasons, we must strengthen the awareness of the protection of wetlands, in order to achieve harmonious development between man and nature.
