It is very important to avoid coal mine accidents caused by the gas in coal mining.The gas drainage monitoring system is a control system to achieve the coal seam gasdrainage and detect the environmental parameter, which can help the mine safetyregulators get and analysis the information in the coal mine to make correct decisions.The system is an important mean to improve coal mine safety production.The thesis, according to the Liyuanba coal geological conditions and practical needs,fully explored the methods of gas drainage on the basis of Liyuanba coal and proposedthe overall design of gas drainage monitoring system on the specific needs of the coalmine gas drainage. The main work is as follows:①The thesis carefully analyzed the development status of gas drainage monitoringsystem, studied the law of motion of the gas in coal, compare different methods of gasdrainage and described the practical significance of the development of new gasdrainage monitoring system.②According to the conditions and functional requirements of Liyuanba coal, thethesis determined the overall design and structure of the gas drainage monitoringsystem.③The thesis described the design of key functional modules in the system. It alsoidentified the sensing element for gas drainage system by comparison; elaborated thedesign of gas drainage control cabinet and gas sub-station and then improved the gassub-station; presented the design idea and method of system software; analyzed thecauses and found ways to solve the problem from system design and test.④The thesis analyzed the actual operating result of the system and present thesocial and economic benefits. Then it introduced the solution of common faults whenthe system is running and where the system needs to further improve.When put into operation, the system runs well, and meet the design target.
