System Of Welding Process Management Based On B/S Model

With the rapid development of science and technology, the welding technology is being used more widely in the modern industrial and manufacturing. The wide application of welding technology requests welding structure with high quality and performance, so choosing reasonable welding process parameters, formulating and strictly carrying out correct welding technology has become one of the most important link in the welding process. It is necessary to inquires lots of related welding manual, design process and technology evaluation books when formulating the new welding process. In order to improve the efficiency of designer, the enterprise should introduce database technology to carry out information management for welding data. with rapid development of the network, communication and database technology, the exchange of information through network grows day and day, network database technology has been widely used in the welding field. The development of welding database system based on network application pattern, made the process designers and ordinary users to be realized accessing to welding database by using common web browser through the network interconnection. Based on this, a welding process management system based on B/S model is being researched in this paper.Firstly, a further research was carried on in the early days. With a full understanding of the welding production process and management process in the enterprise, the requirements, function and structure of the system had been clear based on the practical experience of the welding technician and relevant experts. And a B/S structure is being constructed for the welding process management system.Secondly, a welding process database is being designed based on the needs of user. After the collecting, sorting and analysis of the welding data involved in the welding process, the E-R model of the welding process database is being created and then transformed to physical data model by using PowerDesigner.Finally, the welding process database is being built in Oracle, with the Web application function of the Oracle Form, the welding process management system based on B/S model is being established finally by using Forms Builder development tools. The system includes material data management and maintenance, welding wire data management and maintenance, groove database management and maintenance, TIG welding data management and maintenance, resistance spot welding data management and maintenance, resistance seam welding data management and maintenance, electron beam welding data management and maintenance, braze welding data management and maintenance, process evaluation data management and maintenance, and database management and maintenance. The system realizes the information management of welding process data, and make the user achieve the management and maintenance of the welding process data through the Web browser.
