| In this paper, mixed epoxy resin YD-017and YD-020L were as the main modifiedresin. Through free radical graft copolymerization method, methyl acrylate, butyl acrylate,methyl methacrylate butyl six fluorine and styrene were grafted and copolymerized ontoepoxy resin molecules, using organic amines to neutralize the modified resin, finally addingwater to disperse it into water fluoride epoxy resin emulsion.Examined the impact of type of epoxy resin, type and amount of solvent and initiator,the amount of methyl methacrylate, temperature and time of the grafting reaction and theneutralization degree on the performance of waterborne epoxy emulsion, determined theselection of solid epoxy resin YD-017and YD-020L with mass ratio2:1; ethylene glycolmonobutyl ether and n butanol with mass ratio1:1to compose the mixed solvent; tookBPO as initiator, the amount of which was4%of epoxy resin’s quality; and methacrylatewas26%of epoxy; dosage of Methacrylate butyl six fluoride was35%of epoxy resin;temperature of grafting reaction was120℃; time of reaction were6h; when theneutralization degree was110%, the prepared waterborne epoxy emulsion got the bestoverall performance. In addition, through the FTIR infrared spectroscopy structural analysis,it is confirmed that the acrylic monomer copolymer of fluorine was grafted on the epoxymolecules.By means of coating curing temperature study, contact angle and water absorptiondetermination, EIS impedance analysis, EDS spectrum analysis and determination ofcoating conventional performance, the performance of waterborne epoxy resin emulsioncoating film was conducted to study, when the curing temperature was160℃, after curing30min excellent performance of coating film can be obtained. Comparing the modifiedepoxy coating adding35%six fluorine butyl methacrylate and the coating without addingmethyl methacrylate butyl six fluorine, the contact angle of the former was increased by20°, showing excellent surface properties. AC impedance analysis showed that theintroduction of methacrylate six fluorine butyl can significantly improve the corrosionresistance of the coatings and other conventional properties.This paper also took the homemade waterborne epoxy resin emulsion and thecommercially available amino resin as base material, adding titanium dioxide, talcumpowder and aluminum tripolyphosphate with small amount of additives, successfully prepared aqueous fluorine-containing epoxy paint. The paper studied the effects of theselection of dispersing agent and dosage, solvent dosage, wetting agent content, the type anddosage of amino resin, the choice and dosage of baking catalyst on the properties of coating.And it discussed the relationship of the value of pigment volume concentration PVC and theperformance of coating, characterizing the influence of PVC on the coating properties byusing contact angle measurement and scanning electron microscopy SEM frommicrocosmic angle. Through testing the conventional performance of waterborne epoxypaint, this paper prepared one side of the bottom using metal protective paint with excellentperformance of weatherability and corrosion resistant, so it has a wide application prospect. |
