With the rapid development of enterprises’ Information construction, the development of information-based management Welding workshop is getting more and more important. At present, lots of welding workshops introduce many kinds of information systems such as ERP, CIMS one after another to improve their information-based level, the system can’t realize the regional cooperation and resource sharing perfectly,which caused the existence of information island and waste of resources due to low openness and poor fusion. Studying on the grid technology in the welding workshop information management, a new type of OGSA/WSRF heterogeneous information integration model is constructed, the welding workshop resource is packaged, which is helpful to achieving the information integration and resource sharing.This article’s mainly works are the following aspects:First, the problem of heterogeneous information integration in the welding workshop information management is analysed, and a OGSA/WSRF welding workshop of the integrated information model is proposed, and basically completed the integral designation of model framework and core module. Second, the problem of welding workshop resource sharing is analysed, the welding workshops’information resource virtualization mechanism is proposed and modeled, the welding wofkshop resource is packaged in the form of grid nodes unity and open to the users in unified interface. The users through the grid portal layer to share the resource and manage the information. Lastly, the grid enviroment is allocated, the development process of grid service by GT4and the grid service registration and found by UDDI and WSIL is introduced.The research of grid technology used in the welding workshop information management, which provide a new idea for the development of the workshop information management system, and provide a reference for the continuous development of grid-based welding workshop application.
