As a typical make-to-order (MTO) pattern, the manufacturing of mould is full of randomness, which takes a lot of problems such as multi-technologicl process of manufacture and cost of manufacture hard to be monitored. When noticed the project due-date, the factory have to monitor the cost of manufacture and take measures to limit it profitable. Therefore, it’s significative to search a method to monitor the cost of manufacture in Mould industry.The main random factors during the mould production process contain multi-project resource sharing of manufacture, the multi-project parallel and repairing. Creating a model via Markov Decision Process theory to evolut the process of project for monitoring and limiting the cost. It provide a new train of thought for decision maker. The contents of research as follows:Firstly, based on analyzing Project Network Diagram of Mould, the paper propose the maintain causes and uncertain factors of the cost of the single project. Focus on the evolution of the repairing section, set four monitoring points to warn the overspend situation and remind the manager to take measures to limit cost.Secondly, based on the monitoring cost method of single project, the monitoring cost method of multi-projects has been proposed. The paper analyzed the influence of the project to project,combine the projects schedule theory to gain the expectation of the cost and due-date. A simulation model was created to confirmation the veracity of the method.Then, the solution of control cost of manufacture consist of Activity Based Costing method and monitoring method has been proposed. In this solution, some key performance index and model of job have been created. Therefore, formed a method based on forcasting technology.Finally, a system that can monitor the cost of the mould projects has been developed. Collecting the history data of company is one of function of this system. The data is used to calculate the expectation of the cost and due-date. After analyzing the history data, the expectation can be provided.Used the Markov Decision Process theory, we build the model of the mould peoject monitor method under the uncertain environment and then we evoluted the project. The expectation of the cost and due-date has been provided. A cost monitor system of mould projects was developed, the database and user interface has been developed,too. The purpose of this paper is to search a new method for mould company to monitor and control the cost and duedate.
