Geological disasters threaten the safety of human lives and properties seriously. To prevent geological hazards and avoid or reduce the impact of them, dynamically monitoring and management of the geological environment are of great necessity.In order to grasp and understand the developing trend of geological hazards, it is important to dynamically manage the changes of geological environment effectively. According to the needs of geological disasters management at county level, this paper focuses on the study of geological disasters dynamic management. The paper takes Wencheng County as an example to design a geological disasters management system at county level and accomplish it.The causes of geological disasters are extremely complex. There not exists a good prediction method currently. In practical work, Bureau of Land and Resources monitors the developing trend of geological hazards through periodic inspection of the changes of geological environment. This paper designs a geological inspection management function which integrates reporting, approval and update.In geological inspection, the geological disasters needing monitoring are of various types. The feature, formation conditions and prevention methods are different from one geological disaster to another. Therefore, to standardize geological disasters information management, this paper classifies geological disasters information into feature information, environment information and prevention information according to different meanings of geological disasters information. On basis of it, the paper builds an extensible data structure.On the basis of geological disasters data structure, the paper stores realistic data and historical data in different database, which not only preserves historical data completely but also ensures operating efficiency of the system. To solve problems of rendering complexly and low display efficiency that result from various and large amount of vector environment information, the paper proposes vector environment information unified rendering and quick display method. As to the problem of massive background information of grid environment as well as multi-source image, the paper puts forward the image pyramids dynamical construction and adaptive update method on the basis of interpolation experiments and analysis, to achieve rapid display of multi-source remote sensing images with adaptive update.The occurrence of geological hazards is inevitable. How to carry out rescue as soon as possible when disasters happen is an important work of disaster prevention and mitigation. Therefore, the paper designs disaster auxiliary analysis which can obtain environmental information of the place and neighborhood where geological disasters take place and provide decision making foundation of emergency rescue.On the basis of the above analysis, this paper designs and implements a Web-based geological disaster management system of Wencheng County. The practical application shows that the system is feature-rich, stable operation, effective management of geological hazard information and data, which well meets the actual demand.
