| With the development of computer network and geographic information technology, WebGIShas been widely used in various fields. However, most of the consultation system has notintroduced geographic information service, which causes inconvenience in emergency processing.On account of the lack of geographic information service in consultation system, the thesis proposesthat WebGIS service should be introduced to provide spatial information resource for attendees.At first, the thesis makes a detailed description of the content of the consultation system. Andthen, it expounds the features and functions of WebGIS service. Meanwhile, the thesis analyses thearchitecture and implementation techniques of WebGIS. Besides, the thesis compares severalcommonly used WebGIS service platforms. Considering the advantages and disadvantages ofsoftware platform and the actual demand of system, the thesis chooses ESRI’s ArcGIS product asplatform. According to the system’s requirements analysis, the thesis gives a WebGIS servicemodule design and proposes the general framework base on the B/S mode.In this thesis, the Visual Studio development tool is used to develop applications and theArcGIS Server is used as the service platform. In addition, the thesis uses Microsoft SQL Server2008and spatial data engine ArcSDE to manage data and uses ASP.NET, Ajax and other webrelated technologies to realize the WebGIS service.Finally, the thesis presents the operation of WebGIS service and realizes some functions such asgeographic information query, path analysis and layer seperating management. |
