Now, the weather forecast and meteorological observation has been integrated into people’s daily life and the life of people especially in terms of transportation is very important, in order to get wider, multi-effect, uninterrupted meteorological information, therefore the installation is convenient and fast, stable performance can be continuously long time work independently small automatic meteorological instrument can to some extent substitute large automatic weather stations to achieve important meteorological observation, the observation of intensive observation time increases, growth, to predict and prevent the meteorological disasters is very important.In this project is to observe a few meteorological elements for principle of automatic weather station, and on this basis to design a small automatic meteorological instrument. This paper first makes a detailed analysis of the automatic meteorological instrument’s working principle, and the design requirements, and give the instrument work flow, then selects the high quality, stable performance, excellent applicability temperature humidity sensor, wind direction, wind speed sensor and a rain sensor and pressure sensor, based on building the automatic meteorological instrument hardware system; by adopting the convenient installation, small volume, can independently lasting work and running data collector for data acquisition, storage and upload; finally, in terms of software using the meteorological departments are commonly used by professional software for data collection and monitoring and processing, thereby realizing the temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed and precipitation and air pressure of six meteorological elements are measured, the terminal server help can be reached24hours of monitoring observation apparatus is located on climate change.
