The Traffic network of road is one of the urban lifelines; which affects the entire city social and economic survival and development. With the development of the society and the increase of people, goods and transfer amount, then the transportation network is Vigorous development. When the citizens enjoy the great convenience by modern traffic tools, at the same time, facing a heavy problem brings by the traffic jam and the traffic accident frequency. We must know how to make the network flow and material in distribution facilities is more reasonable to management and control the transportation system, so we want to have a allocation of resources and adjustment the road network there must be accurate basic data as guarantee.This paper bring Geo-information technology into the urban road network traffic capacity analysis as well as field of evaluating the structure of the network, combined with the related theory of graph theory foundation, use the function of ArcGIS Engine, use the component type development means, complete the system based on GIS to capacity and analysis road network traffic.Bring the Geo-information technology in research the city road network space structure will be applied in road network structure of the evaluation, able to direct, clear reflects an area of the network traffic conditions, for the road network optimization and adjustment of transformation and provide the basis, to improve traffic jam phenomenon, improve the network traffic conditions have very important significance.In view of this, this article selects the road capacity for index, a measure of the road network traffic conditions, and of the space structure of road network optimization and adjustment of the data to provide a powerful guarantee.
