A Study On The Network Connections And Influencing Factors Of Marine Research Cooperation In China

Research cooperation network is an important part of a country or region's science and technology innovation system.Marine scientific research is the core power source of the transformation of the kinetic energy of Marine economic development,which promotes the transformation of Marine economy to high quality.The development of Marine scientific research cooperation network is an important link in promoting the great development of Marine scientific research.Based on the analysis of the co-authored papers of Chinese Marine research as an important indicator to measure the network of Marine research cooperation,this paper analyzed the distribution of Marine research in 2007 and 2017,the characteristics of institutional collaboration network,the overall structural characteristics and the spatial differences of Marine research cooperation network by using Cite Space,social network analysis method and visualization software.The results show that:(1)Marine scientific research is developing rapidly,and the research fields are more diversified.The research hotspots are highly related to the industrial needs of Marine economic development.Underwater seabed mining,offshore oil and gas drilling engineering,diving technology and equipment,aquatic machinery and instruments are emerging or key breakthrough fields in Marine scientific research,and the number of published papers has increased significantly.The agglomeration of China's Marine scientific research cooperation network has been further strengthened,and national research institutes and key universities with strong scientific research capabilities are playing a key role.The Chinese Academy of Sciences has the highest frequency of cooperation,and as the "hub" of the Marine research cooperation network,it is the most active node in the Marine research cooperation.In the field of natural science,the "channel" of cooperative network knowledge technology is more dense,and the "single-core" divergent structure has developed into "multi-core" band-like extension structure,and the research content focuses on "shipbuilding engineering","aquaculture technology" and other aspects.(2)Marine scientific research cooperation network has obvious characteristics of small world and scale-free network,with strong accessibility and agglomeration.The network is more open,but at the same time,it presents discrete trend and unbalanced characteristics.Different from the "diamond" structure of the information and innovation cooperation network,the Chinese Marine scientific research cooperation network has formed a special "trapezoidal" structure with "Beijing-Tsingtao-Shanghai-Guangzhou" as the apex and the cooperation between the strong countries.The "focal cooperation ties" in the network have increased and gradually expanded.At the same time,three Marine scientific research cooperation clusters with different functions,characteristics and research fields have been formed in the Bohai Rim,the Yangtze River Delta and the Pan-Pearl River Delta.The leading pattern of core cities has been consolidated,among which Qingdao plays a strong role as a "throat" and is a national Marine scientific research center with a strong ability to control Marine scientific resources.Some of the core nodes(such as Beijing and Wuhan)are inland,but they have strong independent capability of Marine scientific research and enthusiasm to participate in scientific research cooperation,that is,Marine scientific research cooperation is characterized by significant complexity.(3)According to the results of correlation analysis,it can be found that the regression coefficients of geographical proximity and institutional proximity are more significant,and the QAP multiple regression fitting is better.Institutional proximity indicates that government intervention artificially enhances scientific research cooperation,provides effective guarantee for interactive learning between the two sides,and directly affects the scientific research policy support of members.Geographical proximity indicates that geographical distance is still an important factor to consider in innovation cooperation between cities.The regression coefficients of all the research samples are around 0.04.At present,innovation cooperation cannot avoid the impact of geographical distance.However,the impact of economic and social proximity on the Marine research cooperation network is relatively less correlated,indicating that the Marine research cooperation network is more dependent on the region and system,while the dependence on the economy and other factors is implicit.Finally,the countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing the cooperation network are put forward.
