Gyrotheodolite which is an accurate measuring to orient and angle measurementindependently. Due to high-precision orientation, high adaption in all the weathers, independentmeasuring at any time and location, gyrotheodolite has been widely used in the military,mapping, underground engineering, mine exploitation, and so on. Because the traditionalgyrotheodolite are manipulated mainly by manpower with a low auromation, it cannotmeet the requirements of the modern applications. The High-precision Auto-Gyrotheodolite hasbecome an important development direction, in the areas study of Gyrotheodolite. TheHigh-precision Auto-Gyrotheodolite has been in developed to the mature product in the indeveloped countries,while it is developing in our country. The technologies ofAuto-Gyrotheodolite High-precision Orientation are being studied. So the technologies andapplications are researched in the dissertation.In the Mechanical structure, the influence caused by the centers of theodolite,gyroscopes, and point control are not on the same axis are analyzed, and the correspondingdetection methods are explored. The indoor testing methods which used to detectgyrotheodolite’s inner precision and Contrast precision are put forward.The PSD and CCD are two important photoelectric sensors in the gyrotheodolite automatedprocess.The related technologies are researched in the paper.The methods which used to build the reference line for calibrating the gyrotheodolite areresearched. The theory of demarcating the Gyro-theories’ E-Value by GPS and Surveying theSun are put forward.Study the impact of external factors on the accuracy of the Gyrotheodolite Orientation,focused on the temperature and voltage. The methods are put forward; the equipments aredesigned, which used to solve the problems.Software”Gyro orientation in the Underground works” is designed based on the practicalapplication of the underground works orientation, which involves some techniques in theunderground works orientation.
