Groundwater is an important part of water resources, is indispensable for human survivaland development of precious resources, the relative lack of surface water resources innorthern China, groundwater is an important or even the only source of water. Nearly30years, with rapid economic development, human development and utilization of groundwatercommunity has far exceeded the carrying capacity of groundwater resources, there has beencontinuous decline in groundwater level, water quality deterioration and a series of seriousproblems, therefore, damage The study of groundwater recovery systems, groundwatercontrol the size of the system recovery capabilities for the development of rational use ofgroundwater management programs and plans to promote the ground water, population,environment and the sustained and coordinated economic and social development of scientificbasis.In this paper, based on access to large amounts of data, combined with its owncharacteristics of groundwater system, groundwater system, summed up the definition ofrecovery and restoration of groundwater system in the scientific ability to grasp the conceptand content, based on structural characteristics from the groundwater system, regional waterresources, ecology, environmental pressures, technology and socio-economic aspects of thesix selected26indicators constructed indicators of groundwater recovery system, evaluationcriteria and indicators were divided on the evaluation method was discussed.Liaohe plain region under the work of liaoning province is an important agriculturalproduction base, and economic development center, is also the most water, groundwaterresources in the most prominent contradiction between supply and demand of the area, so thefollowing liaohe plain as the research object, the groundwater system restore ability researchhas the important practical significance. Has the support of GIS space data acquisition,management, analysis, modeling and display the function, GIS technology and variousmathematical model, and the combination of in computer hardware, software environmentsupport, provide timely variety space and dynamic geographic information, is more and moreapplied to the study of groundwater system is adopted in this paper, the GIS spatial stackingtechnique under the groundwater system of liaohe plain recovery capacity evaluation, thispaper reveals the liaohe plain under groundwater system restore ability of the spatialdistribution, the results show that: Xinmin-Liaozhong plains, Liuhe plain and the southern coastal plain recovery capacityis stronger, Liaohe alluvial fan, Hunhe alluvial fan, Taizihe alluvial fan and west plain are inthe medium level; Linghe alluvial fan, Yangchang river alluvial fan, Heiyugou river alluvialfan, haicheng river alluvial fan and northern FuXin TieLing etc are the weakest and need to befurther improved.Researches have certain directive significance for the water resourcessustainable exploitation of the lower liaohe plain.
