Epigenetics is the system generated by the DNA sequence changes in heritablechanges in phenotype genetics subdiscipline. Mechanism and the role of DNAmethylation in plants, after a long period of development, to fruitful results in theworld. But the relationship between the plant level of methylation and environmentalresearch in a developing stage.Plant DNA methylation plays an important role in the study of plant populationsand the environment. In this study, MSAP technology to China Nen River plainPhragmites austrilis(Cav.)Trirn.ex Steud four natural populations from the differentregions of DNA methylation analysis and discussion. The results show that the levelof methylation differences between the internal and population of the population oftechnology can be MSAP analysis reed. From the perspective of DNA methylationanalysis, the reed has a higher apparent genetic diversity, and that this diversitydepends not only on individual differences or population differences, fromenvironmental differences. In this study, the average pH of the soil for samples takenand experimental results were analyzed, The result is the pH difference is indeedcaused by the apparent genetic diversity in the level of DNA methylation on the reed. This is most likely from the plant the face of environmental stress is generated by thegenome defense or other cause epigenetic variation causes. These reasons are subjectto further research and analysis.
