A high-altitude weather condition is one of the most important factors in affecting the accuracy of artillery fire. It is important to analysis the changes of meteorological factors such as temperature, pressure, air humidity, and so on. In all weather elements, temperature variation is particularly complicated, and it is the main research object. Based on the high-altitude meteorological data from Shenyang Artillery Academy, least squares segments fitting model was established in this thesis. After tested and analyzed, the model was simple, precise and feasible.This thesis analyzes the vertical distribution of temperature at high altitude. And it is shown that in the troposphere, temperature decreases with height increase, while in the stratosphere, temperature changes little at first, then gradually increases with height increase. The data involved in the meteorological data from Shenyang Artillery Academy belongs to the troposphere and lower stratosphere, so this thesis only processes the data from the two parts.In order to facilitate research, the data was preprocessed and feature data points were extracted as the baseline data. Based on the data preprocessing, with the vertical distribution of temperature, the data was divided into the troposphere and stratosphere two parts. And based on the goodness of least squares, matlab was selected as the development tool to establish the data processing model, which was match to the vertical distribution of temperature basically.High-altitude meteorological data is large amount, complex, and there are more mutations. To improve the accuracy of the model, fitting residual threshold was set in this thesis, and a sub-group data fitting model was established. In the fitting model, the shortcomings of large residuals and unsatisfactory fitting curve shape were overcome, and the oscillation of temperature distribution was solved effectively.After testing and analysis, the model established in this thesis can describe the temperature variation in the troposphere and stratosphere. Calculation errors between fitted values and actual values were decreased, and a smoother height-temperature fitting curve was got. In the meanwhile, high-altitude meteorological data processing model is the basis to predict the temperature, and it will provide theoretical basis for improving the accuracy of artillery fire.
