This paper mainly studies the passivity problem of discrete piecewise affinesystems. In recent years, a lot of scholars research and analyze the stability problemof these systems. However, there is seldom people studying on the passive control ofdiscrete piecewise affine systems. In order to simplify the calculation of the constraintregion, this paper uses the technology of regional division and uses the ellipsoid toexpress the region of each subsystem for the piecewise affine system role in. Eachsubsystem only can operate in corresponding region of the range and switchingbetween different regions.This paper analyze the passive control of discrete piecewise affine systemsthrough designing a piecewise Lyapunov function.This paper uses the classicaltheory of the Schur complement and S-procedure. This paper designs a controllerallows the system to switch back and forth between the various regions. We alsoresearch the passivity of time-delay discrete piecewise affine systems and the discreteaffine system with parameter perturbation uncertainties. This paper gives acorresponding controller design by using the form of LMI.
