In the industrial systems, their components (such as sensors, actuators) are often damaged or failures along with the time running. These lead to systems instability or performance deterioration. In order to stabilize the systems with components failure, the theory of reliable control was raised. The reliable control for singular systems which are popular than normal systems is of great significance. In this thesis, the reliable control problem of uncertain discrete singular systems with time-delay is considered. A more general failures model is adopted for actuator failures. Base on Lyapunov functional technique, the synthesis of controller via a memory-less state feedback can be transformed to a linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) feasibility problem. The main work of this thesis lies in the following.1. The robust H_∞reliable control problem of uncertain discrete singular systems with time-delay is considered, a sufficient condition is presented for discrete singular system to be admissible. Base on this, a construction for robust H_∞controller is given.2. The reliable passive control for uncertain discrete singular systems with time-delay is studied, a state feedback controller is derived to guarantee the system passive.3. The reliable guaranteed cost control with H_∞disturbance attenuation for uncertain discrete singular systems with time-delay is discussed. In the presence of partly actuators failure, the controller still guarantees the admissibility of the closed-loop system and satisfies H_∞disturbance attenuation level. All results of this thesis are presented in the form of LMIs. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of the conclusion in this thesis.
