The3D spatial data of Digital City is an important part of the framework data. It includes3D model data, the information of3D model, DOM data and DEM data3D model data is divided into source model, expression model and the related texture data. Comparing with the mature2d special data management system,3D model data is still managed with the method which is managing data by file extensively. Due to the large number of files for3D model data, establishing a data management system to manage the data uniformly and effectively is indispensable. This paper is based on the "Digital Changsha" Geographical Space Framework data management system and Geographical Space Framework platform. It sets up the Digital Urban3D geographic space framework data management system. This system develops on database technology, ArcEngine and Skyline API. It manages model files. This system can avoid the disadvantages that operating files directly. At the same time, the system establishes2D and3D data linkage update mechanism which benefits maintaining the up-to-date state of3D spatial data of geographical spatial framework.The main contents of this article are as follows:[1] This article introduces how to organize and manage the3d spatial data, especially3d model data so that the three-dimensional source model and performance model, the three-dimensional model and spatial data can be an organic whole.[2] A suitable method for the digital city public platform in three-dimensional model data management is studied. And a three-dimensional spatial data management system is established. The system will unify3D spatial data management of digital city geospatial framework.[3]2D and3D linkage updated approach is studied. The link between2D and3D data updated is set up while keeping them independently update, allowing the system to establish the mechanism of2D and3D linkage updated. The system analyzes DLG which has been updated to get the range of variation in data and then extract the model data which is in the range to establish the linkage mechanism between2D and3D.
